New Release! New Images of Nazi Germany: A Photographic Collection - November 2012
The much anticipated follow-up to Album of the Damned, this new collection of more than 500 photographs taken by amateurs and professional propagandists provides a panoramic overview of Nazi Germany, offering intimate glimpses into living rooms and killing grounds, kitchens and concentration camps, movie theaters and battle fronts. Beyond a collection of photos, the explanatory text explores and uncovers little known aspects of Nazi Germany's "war within a war," and its diabolical use of imagery to further its murderous agenda. Together with the in-depth historical commentary, these photographs, most never before seen, create a time capsule, capturing the faces of Hitler’s civilian followers and his soldiers as well as those who suffered under the Nazi onslaught on humanity.
A new series of books is in final preparation, each focusing via original, never before published photographs and documents, include the following: Heldentod: The Nazi Cult of Death, The Smiling Policemen: Hitler's Advance Guard for the Holocaust, Victims of Another Color: The Fate of African Colonial Soldiers during WWII, and Two-Wheeled Blitzkrieg: Bicycles and Motorcycles of the German Army, plus a new benchmark book Mayhem in Miniature: Tales Told by Toy Soldiers, a unique photographic examination over 400 rare British, American, German, Russian, Italian and French toy soldiers placed within the historical context of WWI and WWII via original photographs, documents and illustrations.
